Tobago-Instruments and shells

We love musical instruments and collecting shells and sea glass.
We have a one day port stop next April.

Anyone have any suggestions where to find any of the above?

Trinidad and Tobago is known as the land of the Steel Band.
The steel Pan (what some tourist call steel drum) was orignated in Trinidad. They do sell minature pans just ask a taxi driver and he will be able to tell you where you can get one. Some of the tourist / sovenier shops in Scarbourgh sell them.
