Celebrity cruiser switching to HAL needs info

Hi HAL folks,

My bride and I are pretty dedicated X cruisers but it appears that X is about to become the cruise line of the Caribbean. And we have been there, done that.

We have sailed HAL before and think they have much better itineraries so we are looking at heading to Australia/NZ on Volendam. The info I am looking for is this: when does HAL normally release their fall schedules? The current crop of cruises only goes through February 2011. We are looking to sail in November 2011. I can wait to book but I would like to know when to start looking. I can tell you when X normally releases their schedules (they already have for that time frame) but have no clue when HAL traditionally does. Can you help me?

Are you sure the schedules only go through Feb 2011? We're booked on a cruise from Sydney after that date. The Volendam may not be doing the itinerary you are looking for, but the schedule does go further out than Feb next year.

When you go to HAL's site and search for Australia/NZ cruises with no date the last one showing leaves Sydney on February 27, 2011. I am looking for October/November 2011.

Do you know someplace to look besides that?

Hi Jim and Kathleen, We are Jerry and Kerry who were on the Celebrity Infinity with you and the Martini Mates on Infinity in 2007. I was looking for you because I remembered you had such a great website with your trips in the past. We are headed to Europe for a transcontinental on the Ruby Princess in Oct 2012 which starts in Venice. We are also on the Century in Sep this year - but are you on the repositioning from the 18th of Sep or an earlier trip? I found your website and will check out your blog about your trip to Italy. We are traveling with friends who have been there before and are thinking about doing 8 days prior to the trip with a few each in London, Rome and Venice pre-cruise. Maybe we'll see you in Sep.

When i want to look up certain cruises on hal's site -- i just go to the "cruise" section on the left of the home page -- for Volendam -- just select that ship -- then go to any destination and select australia/new zealand -- there are 3 pages of cruises listed there

Of course we remember you. We certainly envy you going to Venice. It is my favorite city in the world (outside of Seattle). And we are on the September 11th Century cruise as well as the January 6, 2011 Century cruise (Auckland to Sydney) are you by any chance on the 11th as well? We do have a roll call going. You can look us up in the Century roll calls.

We are just back from a short 3-day on HAL's Zaandam.
