My wife and I are looking to book ms Eurodam Dec 26 2010
I have been told that HAL has a great deal of older crowd we are 40 and 42. are we going to be the kids on the ship?

We are looking for great food and drink, been on Royal and Fun ships
We like Royal :)

So any input of this Ship? age groups? food?

Thank you all
David

We sailed on the Eurodam over Thanksgiving. There were a lot of young people -- lots of children. You won't be the youngest on board -- especially over Christmas and New Years.

Have a great cruise.

No, you won't be the youngest. We (age 45 & 46) we on the Eurodam early March. There were several couples and families younger than us. I would guess the average age on our sailing at 50.

That was our first HAL cruise, and now we are hooked. The staff was awesome & the ship beautiful. It had the prettist Lido I have ever seen. The colors were soft and subtle. The entire atrium area smelled of fresh flowers all week. I would booked the same route and ship over again today.

I thought the food was very good. Especially the salmon burgers and the fresh salad & fruit.

I am 42 and we will be on the Eurodam in less than two weeks with our family including my husband, 2 teenagers and our daughter age 10. This is our second cruise with HAL. Our first was to Alaska in 2008. Being younger than the average age on HAL doesn't bother me in the least. Feels pretty good actually.:D

You'll have a great time. We have sailed Eurodam 3 times and every meal was wonderful as was room service. And the crew is second to none. We're booked earlier in Dec. and again in late Jan.:)

We're 38 and 40 and have sailed on Eurodam (as well as Westerdam) and were not the youngest onboard. I will say that the general age seemed to be a bit higher than on Carnival or Princess, but there were all sorts of ages onboard. While the general age may be older, there may be groups booked onboard that will bring a younger demographic...so you just never know who will be there until you experience it.

Remember...your fun is what you make it no matter who is onboard...so if you get onboard and you are the youngest, then enjoy it because there aren't that many places where you can be made to feel young anymore. :) :)
