View Full Version : Any tips for Disembarking in Tilbury?

We are thinking about the Aug'2011 Kiel Canal and Baltic Treasures cruise on the Prinsendam. Anyone had experience with landing in Tilbury? We are leaning towards hiring a car to take us to London to spend a few extra days rather that immediate airport departure.

We will be getting off the Prinsendam this year after our "Round the UK" cruise and will be using a car service a couple of times. It makes it so easy when we're no longer able to handle lots of luggage ourselves.

I agree. After reading other comments, it seems that it is the best way to go, especially after experiencing a wonderful cruise! Other people have had really bad experiences trying to manage luggage and trains/busses. Enjoy you trip and thanks!
