Just curious- how much should we tip the guide in Bethlehem, and what currency should we use? Thanks!

USA Currency is perfectly fine.
How much you tip is a personal decision. Consider the overall price of the tour, and the quality of your guide.

Bravo for a great answer!
Also, consider the type of tour. A local guide for the city gets a small tip, a guide who spends the whole day with your bus gets a larger one, and a private guide for your group only gets a larger one still, in each case commensurate with the amount of time and attention they give you.
