Ruth probably can answer this. There is a single cabin next to the Stuyvasant room. On the deck plan, there is a small square next to the door. What is that supposed to be? Also, can you hear noise from the Stuyvasant room? We booked the cabin across from that one.

I love that cabin! It's the same size as the other insides along that passageway, but those hold two people!
Anyway, when I stayed in it there was no Stuyvesant room; it was the golf center. I didn't hear any noise.
The area next to the door is where the walk-in closet was located. I'm guessing that nothing was rearranged very much when the ship was renovated.
The bathrooms and closets are noise buffers in the cabins along that passageway as they line that wall on both sides. That, in combination with the short hallways down to the cabin doors, makes for quiet.

I was thinking that the closet and bathroom would be a noise buffer. I thought I remembered you saying you liked that cabin!! We were further down the hall in 463 in Sept. I was too late booking this cruise as usual....the forward cabins on Main Deck are taken. Also, I believe they are "reserved" for those people on the leg of the cruise prior to ours. I thought this cabin would be a bit more forward---so we could avoid the engine noise. But, noise or not, we are still thrilled to be heading back to Prinsendam. Since I have our Amsterdam excursions planned, I need another focus!! Thanks for responding!
