Question for LAFFNVEGAS

Hi, we are taking a Cruise out of San Diego on the Oosterdam late October. Found out that there are no direct flights out of Reno to S.D.:(, which means it will take us several hours to get there and make boarding on time a little scary. Our two questions for you is this. If we drive down to Vegas in our R.V. the night before, is there a reasonably priced, safe place to park our R.V. in L.V. for a week? It is faster and MUCH cheaper to fly R/T from there, plus when we return, we are heading down to the Imperial Valley area in Calif. so won't have to fly back to Reno from the Cruise and then drive all the way south again.

Second question. We have two little dogs that we would have to board in L.V. during that week, and wonder if you know of a good reasonable place that would take care of our Mini-pins during our Cruise time, or know of someone who has boarded pets that may have a suggestion?

We live very close to McCarran and have a vet close by as well, who boards dogs-we have boarded our 2 Shelties there.

Hi Rita, We also live close to McCarren not as cloase as Bill we we also don't live far from Bill. I have 2 toy poodles but have never had to board them family has always watched them at the house so I would check with Bill. Although I know our vet boards and is located on Eastern not that far from the airport and we really like our vet. It is called Park Animal Hopsital ph 702-361-5850
As for your RV do you want to park it at an RV park or pay less and just have it at a storage place for RV and boats? We have friends that usually stay with their RV at Circus Circus or there is one of the casinos on Boulder HWY not sure whcih. DH just suggest the Silverton Casino which is not that far from the airport.
We also will be going to San Diego in October to board the Oosterdam October 8th . The best is to go Southwest Airlines from Las Vegas, I am taking DH (Tom) to the airport again this morning so he can fly to S.D. again to work for a week. He has seen a lot of S.D. since November.
