I finally decided to hire a driver when Insignia docks in Amalfi only to find Salvatore of Drive Amalfi is already booked. Does anyone have experience with his associate, Adriano?

About three years ago I was in Italy and drove it myself. I hired a car in Rome and made the rather easy drive to Sorrento and on to Positano. We loved the freedom of having our our car. It is one of the most beautiful regions in the world.

We used Marcello of www.seesorrento.com (http://www.seesorrento.com) - he was awesome. He gave the best tour of the entire Amalfi Coast and took us to an incredible restaurant in Ravello overlooking the sea for lunch. He lives in Sorrento and is very passionate about "his Italy". He even stopped alongside the road and picked a handful of delectable ripe figs for us to eat as we were driving!
