How many ships out passengers on HMC at a time?
If you don't rent a cabana, are their lounge chairs, umbrellas and towells on the beach?
Places to eat and drink? Included as part of the cruise or extra?

Most often there is just one HAL ship at HMC, but occasionally there are two.
You pick up your towel as you go to the tender station, and return it to a laundry bin when you come back on board the ship.
There are plenty of white lounge chairs on the beach, which are available to anyone. There did not seem to be a lack of chairs when the Westerdam was there on 12/18. Some folks have mentioned hammocks. I did not see any, but I didn't look for them either.
In addition to the cabanas, which are very few and pricey, there are clamshells which are canvas coverings, open on the side toward the water. For $9 you get one clamshell and two lounge chairs reserved for you. These can be reserved on the HAL excursion website. There is little shade available on the beach otherwise.
There are several bars near the beach, drinks are charged to your account. For food, there is a very nice pavilion with a great barbeque - steak, burgers, hot dogs, salads, fruit, dessert, lemonade, iced tea, water, etc. There is no extra charge for the food.
If you search this website you will find some good pics of HMC. RevNeal had some good ones on his thread about his Panama Canal cruise.
