with this board you MAY need to be a bit more specific. :D

you're on a deck between staterooms, the rooms are very spacious and have larger bathrooms

We were in SY 6069 this past Apr. on the repo sailing from Ft. Lauderdale through the Panama Canal. We disembarked on San Diego, but the Zuidy continued on northward to serve the Alaska schedule for the Summer. We loved our room. There was plenty of room and storage; there is a full size sofa and two arm chairs in the room; the veranda had two lounge chairs and a table with two chairs, (nice for room service meals!); the bathroom was quite roomy with a zacuzzi tub and a separate shower. Our stewards, Buddy and Joe, did a wonderful job and were quite pleasant. We were just a little forward of the midships elevators, and the location was handy for anywhere we wanted to get to on the ship. This is a nice catagory, only a little smaller than the SA/B/C's. We spend lots of time in our cabin and would choose this category again. Our room was very quiet, and the view from the veranda was great. Were glad we were on the starboard side, as we could see land a good bit of the time as we moved northward along the Mexican coast. Enjoy your cruise.

SYs are wonderful, but just be aware that with a guarantee, you could possible end up in one of the handicapped accessible rooms, if they have not been booked. The HC rooms that are not booked are returned to inventory and people with guarantees can be assigned to them.
The SYs on Deck 5 all the way forward [5001/5002? I forget!] have smaller balconies, the size you get in a VA.
Also, HC cabins in the SY category have only the single sink in the bathroom, and the tub is not a jacuzzi.

DH requires a HC cabin, and when we booked an SY forward cabin, I was disappointed with the size of the balcony. :(
But the rooms are so spacious ... and chances are probably good that you won't get a HC cabin.
