Has anyone sailed in a VH category? What was it like? Was there much motion?

I would imagine that far forward would always have more motion.

Is this on the Eurodam? The other considerations are this is a "Shower only" cabin and it has the Steel veranda railsing as opposed to the plexiglas.

This "Steel Veranda" railing as opposed to the plexiglass is a very important consideration regarding the VH category. I just found out about this Steel veranda railing just the other day and a day after I booked a VH guarantee on the Westerdam.
I've seen a picture of a balcony cabin with that solid steel railing (that appears to come up to at least my waste or higher) on this board and know for sure I would be TOTALLY disappointed to get one of those veranda cabins and it would be just my luck to get one! So....I'm going to change my booking to one category higher (or more) or I'm going to cancel the booking. I have plenty of time...the Westerdam cruise I've booked is for the Christmas Holidays. I think someone really goofed when they designed the Westerdam type class of ship with that steel rail on the forward balcony cabins. Yuck.

We were very happy with our vd category stateroom on the Eurodam. Room 4048 had the deeper balcony as do all the verandahs on the 4th deck. We would book this room again! I believe the 4th deck - upper promenade on the Westerdam has the same deeper decks.
