Valencia Hotels

Hi there,

We will be going on a cruise that is leaving from Valencia and I was wondering if anyone can recommend any hotels to stay in before our cruise? As well is the Taxi fare expensive or is there a better way to get to our hotel from the airport and then to the port?

We have only visted Valencia on one occasion and stayed at the Vincci hotel which I can def. recommend it was very central for bars, restaurants and shopping and a nice hotel. We were not on a cruise so I am unable to help on location or cost for taxis. If you are not spanish speaking I would recommend taking a phrase book. There was very little english spoken and menus were often in spanish only, I understand a fair bit of spanish and struggled with the menus.
