We are off to join the Spirit on Friday, have to leave home at about 2am:eek: our flight is at 6.15am out of Stanstead. We are going with friends, one of them likes to watch the football, guess which one:confused:. We have been on 7 Thomson cruises and I have never notice if they have television, or somewhere were he can watch the football. I have just heard England are playing on Friday. Does anyone know the if they are showing the footbal matches:confused:

Hi,
Have a look here. It gives info on Thomson's showing matches. It doesn't give the specific lounge for each ship though.

Have a great time if you can tear yourself away from the T.V. :D

Usually the TV broadcasts are in High Spirits (Liberties on Celebration). Now don't let it spoil your holiday beanozak if it all doesn't go to plan. :( Just order another one from the bar and relax!!!! :D

Just got back from the Celebration the England match was shown on a large screen in Liberties and also in the cinema. There was bar service in both venues. For the rest of us non footie people:) the entertainment in the show lounge was still on and the shows that were normally in Liberties were held outside in the Lido.
