We are considering a cruise on the Eurodam in February. Has anyone stayed in the delux verandah ov staterooms on the observation deck? Was wondering if this is too far away from everything. Thanks.

Well, it's close to the Crow's Nest, Retreat, Spa, and Fitness Center. But are you aware that those VTs have just a Juliette balcony ... a 3 ft deep semi-circle that won't even fit a chair? I think those cabins are chosen mainly by people who want to be near the Retreat.

Not at all. The proximity to the Crow's Nest is a plus. We spent more time there than anywhere else onboard. You'll enjoy the easy access to the ship's library, internet service and coffee shop as well as the incredible visibility. Some people have had issues with the size of the balcony.. only 39 inches deep, but we countered that by renting a private cabana.

I hope the view will offset the small balcony! Thank you

I love sitting out on my balcony in my bathrobe sipping coffee out of my thermal mug I brought from home. That 39" balcony would not work for me. It all just depends on how you like to relax.
