I am a teacher, so our cruising availability is limited. We are looking to take a cruise this year during Spring Break. I assume these cruises are pretty popular. Any advice about when to book? We have pretty good prices right now, but didn't know if the prices usually skyrocket or when or if there will still be sale opportunities. I know we cannot know for sure what is going to happen, but if anyone has previous experience with Spring Break bookings I would appreciate your insight. Also, does anyone know if HAL will be doing $100 deposits any time soon? Thanks!

If there is a certain cruise and a certain room you desire, I would book ahead of time. Usually those cruises do fill up. Also if you have to fly to the port, plane prices also cost more during spring break.

I would the book the cruise now -- some ships sell out quickly. This way you can get the cabin you want. None of our cruises rarely gone down in price -- they just seem to go up and up.

As for $100 deposits per person -- we have only ever been able to get them for future cruises -- booked while we were already on a HAL cruise.

I haven't seen HAL offer $100 deposits when not on a ship in a long time.
