I am confused about which ships are in which class. Can someone please list the HAL fleet and the class where each ship belongs. Thanks

S Class - Statendam, Veendam, Ryndam, Maasdam
R Class - Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Volendam, Zaandam
Vista Class - Zuiderdam, Oosterdam, Westerdam, Noordam
Prinsendam - class by itself.

Lots to read on this thread that I found by doing a search.

Thanks folks, I looked at the thread from Kruzkeen and it seems that there is some slight dispute on which ships are in which class. There is agreement however, that the Prinsendam is in a class by itself (which makes the rumor that she is up for sale sad)

As you could probably gather from that thread, I agree exactly with the way Esme classed them above.
BTW from what I've seen that is also the way HAL classes them - i.e., no V-class, separate from the R-class. (Somewhere I recently saw some HAL publicity material that divided the ships into "classes" - first time I've seen this.)

Sometimes people classify R and S together since they are very similar. The R's are a little larger, have elevators and stairs in the center of the ship and on some the aft pool may be on a different deck.

Technically speaking, Volendam and Zaandam are actually "V Class" ships - not to be confused with "Vista Class".
