Can the partitions between balconies be removed in all staterooms?

From what I understand, no they cannot be removed, but you are able to open them enough to pass from one balcony to another. I hope I am right here as we have a suite and mini suite booked side by side on the Zuiderdam.

Yes, Doone, you are right. On the Westerdam, there is a door right by the railing and we saw many of those open so that you could pass from one cabin to the other. You gals will have a great time. :D
spcl4cs_gal - The whole divider cannot be removed. I don't know if the above is true on ALL ships, however - I am referring to the Vista ships. I don't know how they do it on the other ships.

On the Maasdam the balcony partitions cannot be opened between S Suites.

Thanks, Esme, that's what I thought I had remembered someone saying. Yes, your right, we're going to have a blast, now if the time would go by faster, I'd be all set!!!!

We had 5 verandah suites on the Rotterdam on the Verandah deck 6, and we had our cabin steward open all the doors. It was very nice as we could all be together or close the doors for privacy. You do have to secure it with one of your chairs or the door may bang a bit.

Thanks everyone for your replies. My brother and I are in side by side cabins and we will probably open that door to just make things a bit bigger. :)

LOL...we asked our cabin steward on the Zaandam to open the doors between our 4 cabins. He told us some "story" about how they could not be opened. As we were awaiting debarkation, here comes the window washer opening each and every door to make his job easier...
So yes, it is a fact that the Zaandam has doors which open to join balconies, HOWEVER, will you be able to find someone who is actually willing to do it???
