For anyone whose booked a guarantee where on the HAL website does it show your assignment when posted ?
I can't even seem to locate anything like that?
We booked with an online agency and she said they HAL usually assigns a cabin a few weeks before sailing. Not a problem since it's only 7 weeks away till sailing.

Anyone have any comments on guarantee's ?

We did it once on carnival . Balcony guarantee and were very happy.
We've booked an obstructed ov for this one and we don't care. price is right and 5 days in bermuda we really won't be on the ship except to shower and sleep. We'll have a drop of light coming in anyway.

If you view your reservation online, you can see it there! Just click on the link that says "check in online" and put in your booking number and last name and your reservation will appear. In the upper left hand corner of the page, it will indicate either "GUAR" or a cabin number if it's been assigned. I usually do a guarantee with HAL and the cabin number is typically assigned about 2 weeks before sailing.

When you are assigned at cabin it will show up in the OnLine CheckIn 1st page, and on the bag tags. Also under My Account/My Reservations.

We've booked 8 guarantees (currently waiting for 8th assignment) and the majority of the first 7 came around 11 or 10 days out. The longest was 18 days, and the shortest 3. We have been upgraded all 7 times, and only once did we wish they hadn't!! :)

We're two weeks out and I am obsessively checking the HAL site for an assignment. It's actually easier with the new HAL site. You can log in to your account, click on "my reservations", and there it is.

That's great! Thanks so much for the tip. I thought it would only show up there if it was booked directly through HAL. I booked mine through a TA and it's there:).
