Are cruise passengers able to get a tour of the ship anytime during the cruise?

Sometimes you will read in The Daily Passage that galley and bridge tours are offered. Bridge tours are usually offered on sea days. Also on sea days the ship may offer a galley lunch, where you will go through the galley to get your food buffet style. In the past, Seven Seas Society events have included Cocktails in the Laundry. You can always ask at the Reception Desk.

Although there are tours of the galley and the bridge, I think the cocktails in the laundry/engine room/other below deck areas are a thing of the past - there are new security/safety rules which need to be complied with. Or at least that's what I was led to believe. No more dinners in the crew areas for example.

Also, as discussed on another thread, some Captain's do not allow bridge tours. They always have galley tours -- make sure to sign up for one.

I hate to hear that. Jimbo's Truck Stop, for the full cruisers on long multi-segment cruises, was so much fun.

This past WC Jimbo's was held in La Verandah. I also heard that below decks [e.g. laundry] is no longer permitted.

Thanks, PaulaJK, Good to hear that just the location has changed for Jimbo's, though it was fun to be in the crew bar and dining room for the night.
