I'm looking for opinions or feedback on Cat. AA - Verandah cabins - aft Promenade deck.

We're booked in one for upcoming September and I've been looking for information as well. The "World Cruise" thread by Grumpy and Slinkie has some information because he graciously did a surveillance of the area for potential noise and smoke issues at my request and reported no problems. Will you be sailing before or after September?

We are looking at the July 12th sailing - from Copenhagen to Iceland, Scotland, Ireland, England, Amsterdam. Are you booked in an AA cabin? When I checked yesterday, the only verandah options were AA or SS & up. SS looks inviting!

Susan - We're in AA193 but not departing until September 20 - so if you book an AA, you'll be sailing before me - and I expect a full report!

I would recommend an S.S. We had one in October and it is very roomy, especially the bathroom as the toilet is separate. The verandah is bigger, in fact we had our room steward put a lounge on the verandah and it fitted perfectly with the two rattan chairs and table.
