Wow I never knew I had been here that long!

Just noticed that I have had over 500 posting, seems just like yesterday that I first found this site. No idea at all:

1. how much money this place has saved me
2. how many pounds I have gained from the eating suggestions
3. how many excursions have been made using tips here
4. how may laughs I have gotten from postings
5. how many CCer's I have met on cruises
6. how many tears from some posts
7. how many times I have felt grateful for kind words from here
8. how many of you to blame for my addiction to this form of vacation along with the pounds and the money I have spent on trips:):):)

Your right! Great resource or maybe hobby? Though it can become addictive.:eek:Honestly, I agree that many of our cruises would not have been as outstanding if it wasn't what we have learned from this site.

Preparations for any type of vacation usually equals great vacations...

We travel frequently and it always amazes us how ill prepared some choose to be on their vacations.

One comes to mind. We were on a land (car) vacation to Maine around Bar Harbor. Got to talking to a couple with children who had drove from the Boston area and did not make accommodation reservations. Could not find a place to stay. When asked if they had gone to Acadia National Park the answer was "What's that."

Like the Boy Scouts one should "Be Prepared." By reading and paying attention to Cruise Critics it does help prepare one for a cruise. We have only been doing this since 2007 but we usually learn something new every day from the boards.

Congratulations on making 500! You are working toward having a great cruise experience.
