I have a silly question... Are there snakes in the Chacchoben ruins? I am terrified of snakes and want to prepare myself in case they are roaming around when I visit in April 2011. Thanks! :)

I didn't see any snakes (or hear mention of) when we were there last week. Do bring bug spray-the ones that are in the wipe form work best for packing and carrying! We used them and didn't get one bite!

We didn't see any snakes, but lots of lizards.
