Anyone esle on Celebrity Eclipse 4 Dec 2010?

Hello!

We are taking our very first cruise this December on the Celebrity Eclipse leaving Miami 4-Dec-2010 for seven nights. We are a recently retired (early retirement thank the Lord!) gay couple. We've heard about "Friends of Dorothy" meetings on these ships. We've also heard these meetings don't usually happen until around midnight. Just wondering if anyone has any helpful information for first timers. Also, anyone else going on this particular cruise?

My partner and I are in our 40s and we and 2 friends, also same-ish age, will be there. So that's 6 Friends of Dorothy as a start! We're in NY, and did one cruise last year. It was mainly str8, but about a dozen gays. Don't know about Celebrity, but on NCl, the nightly FOD gathering was in one of the bars and we met a few of our fellow gay travelers. I never felt unwelcome or out of place, just outnumbered by families (but we went Easter week so it was filled with kids-monsters).
