Thanks Sail for starting this.:)
KK, Welcome Home. I hope you do get home safely with out complications from weather. When you get settled in I for one will be anxiously awaiting your review. Especially your second week and how your cabin steward was since I am guessing we will have the same one in 7 weeks. We will have cabin 7051.
WELCOME HOME KK:)

Thanks everyone.
Had a great 14 day cruise - too short - time went by too quickly.
Disembarked the Westerdam on Sunday - a nightmare! - more later on that.
Got in late last night. Our neighbors were nice enough to clear the six inches of snow that fell from our driveway. Had no problems flying from Ft Lauderdale to Atlanta. But there were a lot of people still at the Ft Lauderdale - left over from Sunday when about 25 flights out of Ft Lauderdale were cancelled to some of the northern cities. We left our hotel at 9 and the lines to check in at the curb side at Delta were unbelievable. We finally got taken care of by 9:40. Inside was another zoo. The security lines were unreal! And being a Monday there were only 3 cruise ships in and those crowds hadn't really hit the airport yet. Since we had first class plane tickets we zipped right through. We had 2 hours and 17 minutes between flights in Atlanta so we whiled away the time in the Crown Club Lounge. The flight we were to take to Pittsburgh was delayed as the plane was a few minutes late in arriving in Atlanta. So instead of leaving at 3:35 we left at 3:45 - not too bad. The plane was filled with flight crews flying north to get planes to fly south. Fort Lauderdale papers were filled with stories of people stranded because their planes could not leave northern cities. No troubles flying into Pittsburgh. A couple of the luggage turn tables had developed water leaks from the ceiling so they had 3 planes unloading in the same area at the same time - another zoo. We landed at 5:30 and didn't get luggage till 6:15. Then we had to take the shuttle bus to our car. Even though is it kept in a "covered" area there was still some wind blown snow on it. By the time we drove home it was 7:15. Time for a good drink and check the snail-mail.
sail- I will be hunting through the threads later - hope your cruise went well.
Lisa - I've got your e-mail address - will contact you in a couple of days.

KK-
Glad you made it home safely! I can't wait to hear all about your cruise. What great neighbors you have... I'd hate to come home to 6" of snow on the driveway. :(

KK, I missed this thread! Welcome home! Can't wait to hear all about your trip. What a way to come home, though, to all that snow. Must make your cruise seem very far away by now.
We had family cruising out of San Juan. They couldn't get back to NYC and were routed to Dallas TX where they had to stay for 2 days before they got home.
The joys of winter .... :D
