We just booked Christmas 2005

Well, I promised myself I wasn't going to have a hectic Christmas this year - I wanted to get away and go somewhere warm...

We just paid our deposits for the 12/17/05 Mexican Riviera on the Ryndam. We got two cabins, one a balcony and the other right across the hall, an inside I, so the kids will have their own this time.

The Ryndam is the only "S" class ship we have not sailed on - and the kids are excited about the new enhancements. :)

That will be a nice relief for you next Christmas, Laura ... I know how much you love to cruise over the holidays so congrats on this booking! Wish we could join you. One of these days, hopefully.

I found that Christmas was very much less hectic when we took a cruise a couple of weeks BEFORE Christmas. We came home very relaxed. I did a lot less for Christmas - I didn't decorate and I gave almost everybody money instead of a purchased gift. Of course, our BIG present was a stay at Disney World for the whole family just after Christmas.

We liked it so much, we are repeating the cruise at the same time this year.

Congrats on a great booking, Laura. Whenever we have cruised over Christmas, we have LOVED it. The ships do a great job IMO
