received a birthday greeting from CC with a 20% discount. checked out this beach thing to hold credit cards and cruise ID + cash. Anyone buy this before? How big do you think it is? Doesn't say dimensions but assume it is the size of the ID and credit cards and not too wide. Water proof? Thoughts? Anywhere else I can get this for about $6 which would be my cost minus the discount + shipping. Thanks.

On AMAZON.com they have basically the same thing for more $$$. Another site shows this item exactly (minus the CC logo) for $17.95. I'll be ordering mine from CC. (AFTER my birthday :-)

It's about the size of a cigarette pack but mine leaked and I had a lot of soggy cash. The sealant rubber was not effective.

thanks for the info. I don't swim so that might not be an issue. just need a place to put my cash and ship ID while the whole family is in the water. I'll think about it but not sure yet. like the previous poster...amazon has them but more $$$

We have 2 of the CC ones. They have not leaked and we do wear them in the water. I still wouldn't put anything in them that can't get wet, like the electronic key to a car or a paper id but for plastic, money, just fine. U.S.A. money (and probably everybody's) dries out nicely; I accidentally send a dollar bill or so through the washing machine ever so often.

We also like our little CC daybags with the cords that can go over the shoulders; came with a nifty belt-snapon that holds a small Purell. They'll keep a cold bottle of water cold for awhile at least.

edited to add: We got this stuff with our 20% birthday discount.
