Do they play much music around the pools?

Are there adult only pools?

Can anyone comment on areas and bands that play for Ballroom Dancers.
Are there good size dance floors.

I usually get a lot of information off the roll calls for my intended cruises, but they seem very inactive for HAL.

Do most people keep to themselves on their verandas?

For cabins together, can the balcony deviders be opened up? It looks like the can in some pictures, but I have not seen any open.

Do they play much music around the pools? Not much. Basically, only at sailaway or special events.

Are there adult only pools? The aft pool is adults only.

Can anyone comment on areas and bands that play for Ballroom Dancers. Ocean Bar is probably the only venue for Ballroom type dancing and the floor is not that big by Ballroom standards...maybe 15 by 25 feet.

Have not been on the Zuiderdam yet (coming up in October) but have been on Westerdam and Eurodam which are similar ships.

Only a couple of times have we talked to the people on the other side of us on the verandah.

It is a small door that opens between the balconies/verandahs. There is a latch that the cabin steward will use to hold these cabin doors open so that they don;t bang when the ship is sailing.

Very little music at the pools. For about an hour each day the HAL Cats will play live -- check your daily program for the times. They also play whenever there is a sailaway -- not at every port though.

Even though the Aft Pool is suppose to be for adults only -- we have seen children in there -- with their parents.
