View Full Version : Burning question....regarding a cruise dropped off HAL site

Went to check availability of categories on the Zaandam 2/19/05 cruise. Last week most categories were still open. Yesterday, it disappeared off the HAL website altogether. I called HAL, and they said they still show it as available.
Why would it be pulled from the website? If I'm being paranoid - just tell me.

This happened to me last year or the year before, forget which cruise, but no one knows why they sometimes disappear. Don't worry. Tomorrow it may be up again. I think this is one of those $64,000 questions, WHY????

THis is interesting - I've been trying to post this question, from home and at work - for 24 hours and was unable to do so until I changed the title line to something much more generic.

The same thing happened to me last week and I had a mini-panic. When I called them, I was told the entire ship was booked. Didn't make sense as it's months away. The next morning it re-appeared with all sorts of cabins still available. Try to relax!. don't know what they're doing as it's scary when they do that.

There's been some trouble on the boards lately. We've had trouble accessing threads, getting error messages, timing out, and starting new threads.
Most of the problems have been dealt with---at least in part, but I understand it's still a work in progress.
It isn't you. I think. :rolleyes:

I have been having trouble with the time. On the bottom of the threads the time has been different to what I have set in my profile and I have not been able to receive all the postings.
I have worked out that if I go into my profile and then go straight to a Board from there, the time stays correct and I can read all the postings but if I just hit the HAL board for example, the time is completely different. Must be gremlins at work.
