My family and I will be in Nassau for the March 19th sailing of the Zuirdam (spelling?) We are experienced cruisers & snorkelers and seek to find beaches with walk-off snorkeling. We have our own gear and are willing to take cabs or short boat rides, but we dislike organized shore excursions ( highlights from our last snorkeling excursion include me being kicked in the face by the flipper of a whale of a woman who was floundering about) Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you!

Take my advice beach princess
go online and make reservations to Stuart Coves
they are the best and they will pick you up at the dock
and bring you back.
They have a morning trip and an afternoon trip.
Morning trip will pick you up at the tourist info
center at the port at 8 am
Afternoon trip will pick you up at 12 noon at the tourist
info center too and bring you back
at about 5 pm
Here is the best part, you get to snorkel at 3 different spots
and the last one is with sharks about 3 or 4 footers right under
ya. It is well worth it. If you email me i hav pics of the trip
ccawalleye@aol.com
The cost is about $44 and like i said well worth it.
If you have any other ? don't hesitate to ask.
Have fun
