Hi, posted this earlier and got one response and would appreciate help from recent cruisers. While docked in Bermuda do they still have the big production/entertainment shows in the showroom?
I know several lounges etc. have music, but need to know if the big shows are held nightly , there's a couple in our group that likes to stay on the ship and may not got if there's a couple "no show" nights.
Thanks for your help!

We just got back yesterday. Though we didn't do any shows I did bring home all the days activities and will go through them later on today for you . Getting all the laundry , cleaning up done now.

I, too, am curious.
I know that when we have stayed in ports until 11 at night or overnighted in a port -- there was not much of anything -- just a movie shown on the Big Screen in the show lounge.

On the Veendam sailing in late April, there was a show each night but Wednesday night, which was Harbor Night in Hamilton. There were four production shows with the Veendam singers (a Bob Mackie show, a Street Singing show, and a Rat Pack tribute show with the full Veendam cast and one performance featuring two of the singers performing well-known opera selections and standards). There was also the standard opening night show, which I did not attend. And a comedian on one night. I'm sure the comedy show has changed in favor of another guest performer, but the four production shows and the opening night show should still be the same. So again, I'd expect a show each night expect Wednesday.

Hi, here's the response from the e-mail I sent to HAL:
Dear Frank: Thank you for your email regarding our cruises to Bermuda. Our shows will still be held at the regular times while in port in Bermuda. There will be no changes in normal activity on board while in port overnight since many people do not go off the ship while in ports.
If you have any other questions, please let us know. We would be very happy to answer any questions you have, and we look forward to welcoming you and your friends on board.
Kind regards,
Flex

I just got back from the Aug 29th sailing to Bermuda. We went to the showroom everynight. The first night was an introduction of the performers, Monday was Bob Mackie's Broadway, Tues. Comedian Jeff Nease, Wed was the Big Band Hour with Katrina and the HALCats at 7 and the Indonesian Crew Show at 11pm (all other shows were at 8 and 10pm), Thurs's show was Street Singing, I've lost the daily program for Friday but it was a really great show, and Saturday was called Stardust Lounge. Hope this answers your question
