My TA found me an excellent limo service for the Netherlands - Send me an e-mail and I can pass it along.
I believe the bill for a day's drive from Amsterdam to Rotterdam with sightseeing during, plus a later transfer from the hotel in Rotterdam to the ship was @ $800.

We've used Schiphol Travel Taxi (http://www.schiphol.nl/Travellers/ToFromSchiphol/SchipholTravelTaxi.htm) a times. We've been quite happy and they were FAR less than what Brian paid. We didn't get a tour, just transfers to Rotterdam and from Amsterdam. You would probably find more suggestions/experiences on the Ports of Call area for 'British Isles/Western Europe'.

JUst in case the OP is not familiar with Schiphol.
You can catch the train from INSIDE Schiphol. Travel time is 30 to 35 minutes. The regional trains (3 and hour if I recall correctly) call at Den Haag Centraal which is convenient to most of the hotels.
I am not arguing for or against taking a car service...just wanted to make sure you know the options.
