We are in Quebec City today. So are hundreds of cyclists here to run the Grand Prix. Fun!
We had fun coming out of Charlottetown. About 11 p.m. we started a night of pretty violent rocking and rolling. The captain said 30 knot winds were forecast. We experienced 60 knot winds! It was some kind of ride. Throw in 10-meter waves and you can imagine.
Things continue to go well aboard the lovely Maasdam. I really like the ship. The look and feel are very nice.
We have been invited to meet with the HotMan and his staff this evening before dinner. Should be interesting and informative.
Since today is my birthday, we will dine in the Pinnacle Grill. Too bad we will miss the Master Chef dinner.
Nothing else of significance to report. We disembark in Montreal in the morning.

You really sound upset over missing the Master Chef Dinner--NOT.
Before the Master Chef Dinner people used to complain about the old Dutch Nite.
By the way, Happy Birthday and may you have many more!

Hi! *Waves*
Saw the tip of the Maasdam going to work this am (work in the 'burbs, but can just see the top of a cruise ship in dock from the hill).
Cyclists - that's why I saw all the signs talking about restricted traffic in Old Quebec today... We went to see the QM2 last night in port... Did you know you passed her in the river last night?

Happy Birthday, Jim! Too bad about it coinciding with Master Chef's Dinner, and you having to miss it, and all that. Maybe next time, eh?
Have a great time in the Pinnacle. And a real good last day and trip home.

A Big Happy Birthday. What a wonderful way to celebrate on the lovely M and yummy Pinnacle. Do let us know if you learn something new about HAL in general from the Hotel Mgr and his staff.

Happy Birthday, Jim. Just two weeks ago, we celebrated our Anniversary in Maasdam's Pinnacle and I wish you as wonderful a celebration as we had.
The Hotel Managers on Maasdam have held that meeting last afternoon for a few years. They can be interesting ......... or not. :D
Safe sailing to Montreal.

Jim, Happy Birthday! It wasn't too long ago that you were injured and we were so worried about you. This is a case of "Nice guys finish first."
