I read the article about "how to avoid Norovirus". My question is: are you allowed to bring a can in your suitcase? I thought you couldn't bring aerosol cans in your checked bags? Or is this something I should pick up at a local store before getting on the ship in Port Canaveral. Thanks for your help.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I have read on these boards that if you have the mini can, it should be okay to bring on a plane. Something about those sorts of things having to be for personal use only.

I read this on the Carnival board, but can't remember the thread .. I'll try to find it for you ...

There's always Lysol or Clorox wipes - easier to pack also. I take them on all vacations. ;)

I didn't even think about the wipes. They would definitely be easier to pack. I figure better safe than sorry. :)

I took a small container of the wipes on my last two cruises, but before that, I did take a can of Lysol spray in my carry-on luggage. (I drive to the port, so no airlines involved.)
