We will be taking a train from Quebec to Montreal on the same day as our cruise. We arrive in Quebec City at approximately 4 pm. Is there a problem with boarding at that time? In the past we have always boarded early, around noon, so I don't know how long they keep boarding open. On this itinerary, the ship doesn't sail from Quebec until the next day. Thanks for any information.

If you are arriving around 4 pm and the ship does not leave until the next day you should have no problem. Boarding is normally open for quite a while. On overnight stays, you sometimes have to call if you come in really late, but I don't think you are in that situation. they should be there until at least 7. simple solution, call HAL to double check, but you should be just fine. Enjoy your cruise:)

That should not only not be a problem it will probably be a great embarkation as I bet there will be no one in line. You will probably waltz on like you own the place :D.
