Was just curious...if not too rude to ask...what's the most you've won on the slots on Ecstasy?? And on what machines?? I won 1700 on the conquest, but only like 200 or 300 on Ecstasy. Was curious if they had smaller pots on smaller ships?? Going again in Dec. Can't wait to play again!

My daughter won $117.00 on Destiny last December on a slot machine, and she was absolutely thrilled...she had only spent $5.00 !!!

WIN? You mean you can win money in one of Carnivals casinos? That's news to me. It has always been a rather one sided affair better me and the casino and the casino liked it a whole lot more than me!

I won a small amount on the Holiday a few yrs ago=under $100. I've spent far more than that on CCL slots over our many cruises but it was fun to win.

I won $1200 several years ago on the Valor. It was the first night of a back to back and you can bet, before the 14 nights were over I had the better part of the $1200 given back to the casino.

On the Liberty recently I moved to the slot machine immediately next to me when a gentleman left it. Three elderly ladies got on the machine I just left, and after the 3rd spin hit 5 thousand if not 10, cant remember exact amount. This was the last night of the cruise, and there was no way of giving it back at that point..

They were thrilled, I was ughugh why did i leave that machine ! ( as i smiled and congratuled them, they were definately 75+ years, and had no idea what they had won it seemed. ) It was nice to see older ladies so joyous, I was happy for them, but woulda been happier for myself! :)

I won $1,000 on a penny slot the first night on Glory on our 7/31 cruise. The casino did not get a penny of it back - cashed it right out, the money went into the cabin safe, and that was that!

I don't think the size of the ship has anything to do with the slots payout. On the Ecstasy I won $300 on a penny machine. On the Glory, Conquest and Valor I won a total of $5500 ($2000 and $1000 on the Wheel of Fortune), $2500 on a quarter machine.

Those wins paid for all of my cruises in 2009

Hi,

My wife and I have won cash at the slot machines aboard the Inspiration. First time (Nov. 2008) I won $1,250 at a $1.00 slot machine. Then in March 2009, (again on Inspiration) my wife was "kissed" by a sting ray in Grand Cayman and that night, she won $2,500 at a $1.00 slot machine. The next day, I won $2,400 at another $5.00 slot machine.

Unfortunately, I gave some of it back on other Carnival ships!

Take your winnings and run! "Invest" in booking another cruise!:)

I have won over a 1000 on the Elation and 5700 on the Pride. I do not believe the size of the ship matters.

When talking about how much you won in the casino don't you have to put it all in perspective? For example a friend of mine spends $100 on slots and wins $40, comes back to the cabin and tells me that she won $40 and I say no, you lost $60.

I kind of have the same opinion as your friend. I take $100 into the casino and expect to lose all of it. If I end the evening with any money in my pocket I consider that a win.

On most cruises I "win back" around 90% of what I took to lose during the week. I usually turn around an payoff my S&S card. So the small wins are just winning back my money.

If on a single spin I win more than I have in the machine (usually $20) then that's winning their money.

If Freedom has penny slots, do you have to use your Sail & Sign to play them or can you actually use pennies?

The jackpots on each machine is different not each ship lol! You can read the payouts.......some total payouts are only $400 while others are $2,000 even though you are betting the same amount........you need to pay attention to the payout before you play.
That being said I pulled a royal flush on the glory in May and won $1,000:D Then continued to win small amounts and at the end of the cruise I paid off my large S&S bill with the winnings.......yes it was more then I spent so it was winnings.......

My step daughter just got off of the Ecstasy this morning. She played slots for the first time and won $240 on a triple diamond haywire quarter machine.

Not the biggest win ever, but she's excited :).

Very funny and unfortunatly very true. I have won a few hundred here and there, but for the most part lost on any ship i go on.

I've won the slots tournament on three different cruises. Each for around $500.00. I've also won the jackpot bingo on a cruise that paid $2100.00 then I went to the casino to get my bingo winnings and they had one seat left on the slot tournament. I won that for $500.00. A great cruise when you win $2600.00 in one day. Last year on the mariner of the seas I hit the slots for $250.00. Other than that my luck sucks. :D

5 years ago on the Miracle, I won about $900 over the course of the week.

3 years ago on the Sensation, I hit the progressive on a penny slot for $1200+ on the last night of the cruise - covered the cruise, the sail & sign, and had some left over!

Ever since then, nothing. This past week on the Miracle was a complete bust. I did see someone win $7000+ on a slot machine.

In our group of 17 on the 9/4/2010 Miracle sailing, two members hit the quarter slots for over $1,000 each and a third left over $600 richer playing various 1, 2, and 25 cent slots.

A few years ago on the Valor, I won $4400 on a video poker machine. Have never done that well again. :-(

When I was on the Splendor a couple of weeks ago they said someone was going to win the BMW on the 2 cent slots and some one did. I tried really hard however it wasn't me. I did win $500.00 on a poker machine and shared 1/2 winnings on a bingo, so I felt pretty lucky.

I somehow won $1500 on the Valor a couple of years ago. The next year, I won just over $1000 on the Miracle. Both times it was quarter slots. I've never won that much cash on land.

It wasnt me, but on our cruise in dec 09 on the glory a man hit 98 thousand dollars. I think it was the dollar slots, and then another machine behind them won about 10 thousand. They were pretty happy people. I wanted to take a pic of the machine but your not allowed to. Oh well. Glad they won. Jo

LMAO!!! I have had the same winnings!!! :D

My hubby is the lucky one. Won't play slots, but will sit at a Caribbean Stud table forever!!! He deserted me on our last cruise and when I found him he was at the table with a 12 inch high single stack of chips. He didn't want to start a new/second stack for fear of losing his lucky streak. I think he ended up winning about $500 on that trip.

I won $2500 on a quarter slot on the Fantasy in 2005. When it hit, it was flashing and saying "payout...10,000 quarters". I (a blonde at the time) leaned over to my friend (also a blonde) and said, "how much is 10,000 quarters?" She just shrugged her shoulders and said "I have no idea". When the attendant came, he explained I had won $2500. I couldn't believe it!;)

On my last cruise, I was in the casino when someone hit the same progressive jackpot and won the top prize - he turned down the BMW and elected to take the cash (minus IRS withholding) - he had a really really big smile, I remember that!
