I just received this great news from the Oosterdam
During her call in San Diego on 01/22/05, the Oosterdam wrote history once again by receiving her 2nd perfect inspection score of 100 by the U.S. Public Health Services – the first Holland America Line ship to score a second 100 for U.S.P.H.
CONGRATULATIONS Oosterdam crew for a job well done. :D

A good friend of mine and outstanding hotel manager Mr. James Deering is on board and I am so glad that he was a part of this. It truly takes the hard work of the entire staff, too, to get such a commendation.

Maybe me being in San Diego on that Saturday helped her;) Only kidding of course. When we sailed with her last year in May I thought she was a wonderful ship. We are very much looking forward to sailing her again this coming October.

Way to go, Big "O"! We just paid our balance for the 3-26-05 sailing to Mexico, and this just gets us more excited!
