We have the whole day to spend in Cozumel. Can anyone tell me whether the following places are open on Sundays:
Palamar Beach Club
Dzul Ha
Zermatt's Bakery
Coconuts
Sabores?

As far as I know, PalMar Estate Beach Club is open on Sunday. The only time I heard that they were closed was when there was road construction going on.

I go by PalMar almost every Sunday, as my Sunday beach friends live nearby. I have never seen them open on Sunday. In fact, there are rather imposing signs to keep people away on Sundays. These signs only come out on Sundays.
Dzul Ha will be open if it's snorkeling you want. Also you can email Sherri and let her know when you are coming. She might be flexible on her Sunday rule.

Just double-checked with a friend that lives on the island and wanted to confirm that PalMar Estate Beach Club is not open on Sundays since there is a private residence on the property, hence the signs on Sunday.

Zermatt is great - I like it the best here. Located on 5th at the corner of I think, 4th or 6th. It is best to go after about 9 or 10 in the morning. They have yummy pasteries and coffee. I like the apple empanadas and what I call cheese puffs. You can sit outside on their little porch and watch the people go by. Prices are cheap.

I second that! Zermatt is wonderful -- our favorite little breakfast spot!
