how do I go about requesting a specific table in the dining room. thanks

Give the information to your TA and he/she will submit it to Hal.

A few years ago we had our TA get copies of the various dining rooms on the ships. She made a copy for us. That way when we book a cruise we tell her what table we want and sends the request to HAL.
