Thanks to everyone who answered the previous ones, we now have another two!
How far in advance do you normally get your tickets? I appreciate that it may be different here in the UK - but still interested to know when I may be able to do the 'document dance'!
Secondly, what sort of plugs are in the cabin? We assume that there will definitely be 110 American plugs but is there a 220/240 outage and, if so, is it continental two pin or UK three pin?
With many thanks.

With regards to the tickets, I just got mine the other day for my March 12 cruise but I guess it varies. Good luck! :)

Does HAL send out the real documents or the new electronic paper docs that other cruiselines are using?
We just booked for a cruise 4 weeks away. Should our docs be sent out to the TA and then to us in the next few days?

I believe that they have both the American 2 prong and British 3 prong in the cabins. Our documents usually arrive about a month before we cruise, but then we are not using their air, but have booked our own. I hope that you have a wonderful cruise. Welcome to the boards. :D

HAL uses the real documents and they are usually sent to your TA to send/pass on to you, unless you requested pier pickup. :)

If we don't use HAL air, we get the docs earlier than if we had used HAL air.
They go to our TA first and after checking everything, she sends them to us.
Some times we get them several weeks ahead, other times it's three or four weeks. If you use HAL air, it could be closer to two weeks before the cruise. They get the air tickets at the last possible minute to get the lowest prices, apparently.
The bottom line? It depends

We booked air on our own, so hopefully, the docs will be on their way to TA on Monday.
I am so glad we get the real thing. :)
