Dancing Lesson on HAL?

Can anyone tell us if there are any ballroom dancing lessons on the Zuiderdam? We always enjoy taking them on a cruise. Thanks. Marilyn and Larry

HAL ships do mosting line dancing classes.

I have never seen ballroom dance classes on a HAL ship.

Back in the 80's, when they had a dance team on board, they used to give various kinds of dance lessons but now I have only seen line dancing advertised.

Like Esme I have not seen dance instructors onboard for many years. They always used to have a dance team in the 60's, 70's and 80's who would have daily ballroom classes.

I wish they did have ballroom dance lessons and think it would appeal to all ages. ;)

Have been on several HAL ships, the most recent AMSTERDAM Holiday cruise, where ballroom dance classes were being held. The last one had an excellent instructor with one of the gals from the cast as his partner, they provided very good instructions. Alas, the space provided is not quite suitable for true ballroom dancing.

On our longer HAL cruises where they have the "Host" program they have always had ballroom dance instruction where the hosts assist the instructor by being partners for the women wanting one.

Thank you everyone for your responses. We have enjoyed formal dance lessons on the SS Norway and more casual group lessons given by one of the ships dancers on Princess and Celebrity ships. We always look forward to that on a cruise. Oh well, we will just have to remember what we learned last time. Thanks again.
