I buy a bag of crystalised ginger and chew on a bit if I think it may be rough or I feel a bit queezy. It works for me.

Eating a green apple works wonders. :D

I use ginger tablets. Why?

1) It is not a drug.
2) It is the only thing that worked on Mythbusters.
3) It works for me.
4) It will still work if you take it after you start to feel bad. This is not true for most of the drugs.

I take one tablet in the morning, with 1/2 glass of water, before breakfast and one tablet in the evening, with 1/2 glass of water, before dinner. So far no problems (and I get motion sick easily).

Stugeron15 available from Boots Chemist. Ask at the Pharmacy - no prescription needed. Works even in the worst conditions.;)

Sturgeron 15 from Boots as well Im the worlds worst traveller but since taking the tablets Ive been fine. Ive even managed a coach trip from Newcastle to Southampton which I never thought possible.and through the Bay of Biscay. I take it before travelling then for the first couple of nights at sea, you can take it all the time but Ive never need too.

Hi,

on my first cruise I was advised by an american lady to eat a granny green-I did'nt know what she was talking about but did not like to say :D.

On my 2nd cruise I tried the magnetic wrist band from the chemists. They seemed to work-although the sea was bumpy and not that rough.

If your sea sickness gets too bad you can always visit the ships doctor and get an injection-not sure how much they cost .

Hope this helps.
