Any idea when they will be forthcoming? The last speculation mentioned perhaps late November, but I would love to see something sooner than later.

Probably just a glitch, but I can only hope they are loading 2012 cruises.

This is always a pet peeve of mine with Silversea. I really like to plan ahead and I wish that Silversea would do a graduated roll-out of the future cruise dates, like some other lines do.
I am ready to book for early 2012. I know which ship, which voyage and approximately what date (working off the schedule for December 2011 and looking at the similar 2010 voyages).
Afterall, it's not as if they are suddenly going to beam the ships to the other side of the world for 1st January !

I think only Silversea and Seadream have failed to announce at least a partial 2012 schedule. Oh, well.

Certainly Silversea knows where the ships are going to sail in 2012. Why not post the itineraries (at least through April or May) even if they want to hold off on the fares? There are some nice sailings out there on other lines open for booking or at least wait listing. Maybe I am naive, but I think it has to cost them some business, especially in light of some of the recent posting of slipping standards. We have only sailed Silversea once (and had a wonderful cruise), but loyalty is not built on one experience.
Disappointing.

You can waitlist for the 2012 Silver Whisper WC. It's $4K/per refundable. We are waitlisted for the first 2 segments.

The full 2012 lineup will be announced and available for sale on December 15th, according to Silversea's blog:

...or does anyone else find the timing of the release of the 2012 dates and rates and then a price increase January 1st a little odd? Trying to drive year-end revenue? A smart marketing ply or a PR gaff? Maybe I am just too cynical.

We received e-mails from Silversea saying that 2012 itineraries will be published on 15th December, and from January 1 of 2011, some 2011 fares will be increased. So there is no contradiction between these two messages - one is for 2012 itineraries while the other affects only 2011 itineraries. Hope this helps.

I did not mean they were going to give everyone a 15 day window to book and then raise 2012 prices. I meant that here come 2012 dates and rates (undoubtedly higher than 2011 unless I miss my guess), and right behind is an increase of 2011 prices (a few, some, most, all?) with a 2 week window to beat the increases. It made our decision to book an alternative to the PA II for December 2011 and not wait for 2012 rates a lot easier.
Sorry if that was not clear.

Most direct fare comparision available:
The voyage we just completed http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1317609
Basic verandah cabin, booked at original 60% discount at $4118 including air.
The exact voyage (same 5 ports in same order http://www.silversea.com/destinations/plan-voyage/?voyage=5237 ) FLL to FLL, air included for Nov 30 to Dec 10, 2012, again basic verandah cabin at 60% off will be $5038 ( http://www.silversea.com/destinations/plan-voyage/?voyage=5237&tab=fares )
So the increase over the next two years is 10.6% per year compounded, hefty, isn't it, perhaps trying to make up for lost ground through the last couple of years!

We were looking for the PA II pricing and were a bit disappointed (but not surprised). We just booked a balcony cabin on another line for a 10-night Antarctica cruise (opted for December 2011) and the PAII lowest cat. (even without the required Silversea BA-Ushuaia-BA air and transfers) on almost the same dates was well over twice as much. If you go apples-to-apples on the cabin the comparison gets uglier. We loved the PAII, but we can't justify that amount of extra cost.

Where can I find all the prices for 2012 ? the website just shows the starting price ( vista suite I believe ) and then single supplement, but no prices for verandah and above category.

When you get to the itinerary of your chosen voyage, click on the fares topic, another page should be shown. Hope this helps

Perhaps it is because your "location" is China. Here in the U.S., the following is an example of what we see:
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA

FYI, I compared two nearly identical cruises (2011 and 2012). Both are Spirit Ft Lauderdale Roundtrip over the Christmas/New Year's holidays (high season!). Both leave on the same date, 12/20 of each year.
As I make it, there is a 9% increase in fare year over year for a midship verandah suite.
In comparing prices it is important to note that 2012 fares on the website include port charges, but 2011 prices are not inclusive of port charges.

Maybe it is due to my location, but fares for 2011 voyages are still visible.

Hi scandun
Change your default location to the United States. Mine opened up in AUD but I wanted to see the prices in US$ so I just changed the location.
Cheers
