I have never sailed with RC but am considering a cruise Voyager of the Seas in April. I have noticed that the suites are on the deck just below the pool/spa area and I'm wondering if there is much noise from the pool deck - any experience with this?

We were on Mariner GS 1274 and heard absolutely nothing. But last month on Liberty in GS 1552 we were awakened two or three mornings around 5:30 AM by lounges being moved and dragged around. It has been posted that 1268 is quiet. I am trying that GS in January.

We've never been bothered by noise on deck 10...once in a while you might hear a scrape or bump, but it's not all the time or long-lasting....ie: not a jackhammer!
You're likely to hear more from the hallway than from above!

We did it once. That's all it took. We haven't done it since.

I've never heard any noise and love where suites on RCCL ships are located as it is a quick run up the stairs for a drink, or grab a plate to eat and right back down to enjoy them in the sanctuary of my room!!
With the exception of my first cruise-all our staterooms have been located below the pool deck/ Windjammer and slept like a rock on them all!!:D

Just off Monarch and experienced lots of banging after the midnight buffet. Funny because we were in the same cabin, deck 10 in July and didn't hear any noise.

Just off the FOS in GS 1286 last Sunday we did hear some noise (pitter patter of little feet running on the pool deck) an occasional thump or two but nothing that would prevent us from booking another cabin on deck 10. I gave up expecting total quiet from a ship made of metal. We were standing in line in front of Johny Rockets and it sounded like a herd of elephants were above us.
