Looking for a limo service to get us to and from the airport/hotel/ship.
In the past, we have found this mode of transportation the most efficient with four passengers, plus luggage.
Any recommendations out there? ;)

Unless you are staying on the edge of town -- cabs are the easiest and by far the cheapest in SD. We stay at the Holiday Inn on the Bay and this is just 10 minutes from the airport AND the pier is just a walk across the street from the hotel. The hotel takes us by van to the pier to board the ship. Again after the cruise a cab is fast and cheap to the airport. Also there is a trolley that runs around town for general sightseeing and lots of fun.
ALSO -- Ralph's Supermarket in the downtown area is great for stocking up on wine and soft drinks for the trip. Again, our hotel runs a shuttle to the area of Ralph's and a nice mall across the street -- we generally catch a cab back with our supplies and again that is just about 15 minutes.
We will be taking our next trip in this area in April on the Ryndam.

Thank you for both of those tips. We will be looking for a grocery store. Do you know where we get the trolley tickets? We think that we are going to be staying at the new Marriott in the Gaslamp area.
The taxi will not hold the four of us and all our luggage. We have tried that before. We could take two, but really prefer the limo service.

Thanks for the info.! I am wondering if there will be plenty of cabs waiting on debarkation day to take us from the San Diego pier to the airport. Also, do you have an idea what the cab fare will be? THANKS!
