Does anyone have any experience with the AquaTrax Watercraft Adventure? Is this basically a Sea-doo or what?

I've been to HMC a couple of times before, and always spent the time snorkeling. The water is pretty, but there wasn't that much to see. I thought I would try something different, but the parasailing is NOT an option :)

I've signed my 17 yo son up for it in March also! I was told by HAL's shore excursion dept. it was a sea-doo type craft and that it required a drivers license. They will only allow one person per watercraft. My 17 yo is quite excited about the excursion!

When we stopped at HMC in Dec 04, on Rotterdam, we went sea kayaking in the lagoon to the back of the main part of HMC. During our trip around the lagoon, which was a lot of fun, a group of about 8 ski-doos went by. We had seen them on the beach near where we started our trip.

The Agua Trax Adventure is Sea-doo. It is a guided tour - one per water craft in HAL's new Bone Fish Lagoon - which can not be seen or heard from the main were most of sit and relax. It is way beyond the BBQ center and at the back of the island. On our cruise they reduced the price from $59 - $39 per adult/child.

Jim and I rode double in November. You must still pay per person, not per craft.

Candy,

Did you sign up on the ship or book online before your cruise? My DD wanted to do this excursion, but only one will have her license. My husband can take her if they allow 2 people. They will be very excited.

Thanks for the information.

We booked at the ShoreEx Desk, and originally were going to get one JetSki each. When I saw how big they are, I asked if I could ride double, and they had no problem with that. You still have to pay per person, not per craft. What a great ride!

Thanks for replying. I know how you felt. We did the same thing in the Bahamas. I ended up riding with my DH, just didn't feel comfortable driving.

Excellent information, thanks everyone! I will take my driver's license just to make sure.

We booked the horseback riding for 9:45 and it's apparently already booked for that time. I booked it 2 weeks ago, which was about 10 weeks before we leave.

I have a 16 year old - will he think this is borring following a guide around, or is it really challenging?

Will they let you double up with children? Previously, I read that they would not, but perhaps they have changed this policy??
