Greg and Vic, I can't believe you are both going again so soon. Didn't you each just unpack? (What am I doing wrong? )
But anyway, have a nice time the both of you. :)

And Yorkies rule---if you could keep these guys in line and still have a good time....;)

Yes you can have chocolate on Valentine's Day even though you don't have a Velentine.

And the darker it is - the better it is for you.

Have a wonderful cruise and take plenty of photo's. :) How about one from the outside looking up at the side verandas. We are in the mid section on the 8th Navigation deck, halfway between the elevator and the aft section.

More detailed reviews of what you did at port would be helpful also. :D

Everynight, my DH ask if there are anymore reviews. So far, dakrewser is the only review we have read of the Oosterdam and it was great!

Are any CC's on the ship now?

Let's see ... the Three Stooges? No. Three Blind Mice? No, that's not it, either. Ocean's Three? That doesn't sound right. Oh well, you all have a great time. I smell a party coming on! :D We'll tune in to the San Diego cruise port web cam on Saturday and see you off.

I am hoping to be able to wish you a Bon Voyage in person but I won't know till about 9 PM tonight for sure. I will post tonight as soon as I know. I would like to meet up with all of you be fore you board, possible even pick some one up at the airport but like I said I will know tonight for sure. Otherwise if I do go and we can't meet up maybe in the afternoon before you sale away you could meet on the balcony that over looks the bow I think you can access it from the Verrandah Deck. I could take a picture of you out there from down below. I am going I will email you tonight and give you my cell phone number so at least you could call me to tell me you are out there and I can take a picture of you on the ship. My Zoom works really good as you can tell from the pictures I took last time of the Oosterdam. I will let both of you know tonight.

Bon Voyage!!!!!

Greg, Vick, Yorkie,

I'll be down at the San Diego Cruise Terminal Sat morning (11:00-11:30)seeing my parents off on the Carnival Spirit. (It's my mom's 80th birthday present.)
It will also be great to see the Oosterdam. We're planning to drop them off and then have lunch at Anthony's outdoor deck. It would be great to meet all of you, but it may be a bit crowded there. So I'll just take photos of the "O" and wave from Anthony's.
In two weeks it's MY turn to sail on the Oosterdam...

Now, you guys take good care of this beautiful ship....anxious to hear about your experiences when you return.

Have a wonderful cruise....enjoy gorgeous sunsets, calm seas and warm breezes(especially VIC who's fleeing winter snow)

Bon Voyage!
:)

cruznon, Looks like I will have to leave it up to you to take pictures this Saturday of the Oosterdam. It looks like I won't be going down to San Diego. DH's company decided they did not want to fly me down there but will send DH home on Monday unsure if he will be home for only a few days and have to return or if he can stay home and not return. Sorry:( , I really would of liked to meet up with all of you and see the Oosterdam again. We just can't see spending the money if he will be home on Monday especially with us having the cruise coming up in 5 weeks.

Vic, Greg and Yorkie, I hope you all really enjoy the Oosterdam she is a great ship. Looking forward to hearing all about it when you return.

Thank you all, so much, for your well-wishes! I'll try to check-in at least once while I'm aboard. I hadn't planned on spending as much time posting from the ship due to it only being 7 days, but I'll make sure I say "hi" and give a few quick impressions!!! :)

:D Three and a half months, Ruth!!!! That's all it's been since I disembarked the Zaandam. It's Vic who's NUTS ... he got off the QE2 less than a month ago!

Time to scoot!

They got underway in good shape, it looks like. This shot was captured about a quarter 'till seven Pacific time this evening as they drifted out into San Diego Harbor.

Jim, that is a great shot of her from the San Diego Web Cam. I hope the pictures I took turned out as good. She did definitely get a late start.
