In re: express docs -- the only page that looks like I should bring with me is the Boarding Pass - correct?

In an effort to lighten my load, is there a good gift shop on the Westerdam where one can purchase suntan/sun block lotions, etc. so I don't have to pack/transport these items? I ask this because when I was on the Coral Princess, the gift shop hardly carried any of these "sundries" -- they didn't have hair spray and the salon had also run out...

I always take my own suntan lotion as DH now requires 30 or higher and sometimes the ships run out of these higher number ones.

I have always seen hairspray in the shop on board all ships -- on most of the ships it is White Rain.

Yes that one page of the docs is all you need to take onboard.

I have not found the gift shops to be very well stocked with that sort of everyday items.....I would buy ahead.

Not EVERY port.....I have been in many places where things like this would have been hard to find.

Not every port!!

One time DH's deodorant broke -- the wheel on the bottom just spun in place. First 2 ports all we had were local vendors -- we were told that we could take an unreliable taxi to who knows where. Thankfully I don't use a "fruity" or "flowery" deodorant and he lot along fine until we got to a port where we found a local store handy to the pier -- cost of new deodorant -- $10 US for a small gel.

If you find what you need on the ship, it will be in a small bottle and expensive.

On my last cruise I boarded in Seattle and 4 days later docked in Los Angeles to pick up the rest of our passengers. Even at the Los Angeles port I had to take a shuttle bus to Walmart to pick up a few items I had forgotten.......it was a long way away and took up a good portion of the day. I was glad I wasn't interested in touring Los Angeles.......
