Wondering if the kids club is open on the 1st night of the cruise? If so do you know what time it opens?

First day there will be a mandatory meeting of all parents to sign up for Club Hal and get ititneraries of activites and bracelets for lifeboats for all kids 13 & under. Then anticipate 2-3 hours AM, PM, and evening when at sea.
Yes, our kids went to activies to get to know other kids the first evening.

Indeed, I live about 10 minutes from the Dream house, so if anybody makes the trek... Do let me know!
It looks very different in person than on HGTV. The Boat house is wonderful... But it is a definate party house... I would not want to attempt to live there.... too many steps, too tight of a kitchen, ... But as a weekend escape it would definately be a dream house!

See that the Zuiderdam or HAL kids club goes up to 12. My son is in a later grade and goes to school with 12/13 year olds although he is 11. Is the kids club segmented by age. Do the older kids actually go to the kids club? Thinking of the Zuiderdam for March vacation just him and mom, and want to make sure he has something to do on occasion.

My son is 11 and we are going on the Z on 3/26. I hope you decide to do it! We are very excited and he is an only child, I am hoping he can find some new friends to hang out with when he doesn't want to be bothered with Mom and Dad. :)
