Is there a way to determine the size of interior cabins. The HAL website shows the approximate sq footage but a few look a bit larger than the average.

:)My kids stayed in a J cabin on the Main deck of the Eurodam. These J cabins are very spacious. Apparently it is only the square shaped J category on the main deck that are larger. Other J cabins found on other decks are standard size. I didn't take any pictures unfortunately however there was a corner sectional with a coffee table, a long desk with a flat screen tv and several closet wardrobes. On the opposite wall were the beds with quite a bit of floor space in between the foot of the beds and the closet/desk area. The bathroom was larger than our VD room with a large vanity area, although a shower only.

If you post the name of the ship and the cabin category you are interested in, post it. Someone here will be able to give you some concrete info.
I will say that the inside cabins have a large range of sizes. There are the "standard" insides, and the "large" insides. Even within those breakdowns there's a big difference going from one class of ship to another.

Sorry about that. I am looking for the larger inside cabins on the Rotterdam.

Most of those cabins are about 182 sq. ft. There's a few that are more square, and they at least feel a little larger.
Most of the "large" insides on this ship are only slightly smaller (about 3 sq. ft.) than the "large" outsides, and are actually larger than the outsides on Lower Promenade!
I have stayed in these cabins more times than I can easily count, and am very happy there. On Lower Promenade, get a cabin between the forward and mid-ship elevators (I stay there a lot), or get one on Main Deck.
BTW---K-2619 on Main at mid-ship, is one of the square cabins, and is a favorite of mine.
