If you book a cruise with Thomson then a few months later the price goes down is that just unlucky or will they reduce the price for you.

No price reductions available, bad luck. I think this will also apply to any british cruise line as the conditions of sale are different here than in the USA.

Absolutely no way - and if you have booked and want to upgrade cabin for example you will pay the possibly higher cabin supplement rather than the supplement at the time you choose to upgrade if it is a last minute price.
